Purpose

Provide support to Community groups (not-for-profit) in establishing and maintaining an on-line presence whilst providing advice on the purchase of IT equipment and services;

Support the exchange of Genealogical information between Genealogy Societies, Families and Individuals on-line;

Provide a web based platform for Community groups (not-for-profit) to assist them with communicating between themselves, members and the Community;

Provide training in the use of Information Technology, Mobile Devices, Computer Software, Internet and supporting the Elderly in training for all forms of Technology used for communication with Government, Business, Family and Friends;

Promoting the safe use of Technology within our Community;

Supporting an avenue for children and adults to maintain their general fitness, social skills, hand-eye coordination, develop mental acuity, improve reflexes, improve balance and stimulate parts of the brain.

How we got started

My Expression was first established to assist a couple of local not-for-profit organisations and provided the following services:

• Instruction in using Computers
• Design Web Sites
• Provide a CMS platform
• Accounting Software assistance (MYOB)
• Advice on Technology purchases

Over a period of time our assistance has spread to other parts of Victoria and also reaching other states of Australia.

We consist of a small number of volunteers who provide the admistrative backbone and technology experience that enables us to exist.

We are always looking for new volunteers who have technology skills that can help us provide support to others.
